Heiden Technology Solutions Ranks Among Top Providers in the MSP501 (Again!)

Dec 29, 2022

The Channel Futures MSP 501 just announced its winners for 2020 and Heiden is proud to have earned the number 81 slot in this prestigious list.

This is the 13th year of the IT channel’s first, largest and most comprehensive survey and ranking of managed service providers (MSPs) worldwide and competition was fierce. According to Channel Futures, there were 35% more service providers vying for recognition this year — all the more reason why Heiden is thrilled to have made it among the top ranked names.

Channel Futures changed the scoring rubric for MSPs this year, as well. According to their website, the judges wanted the list to truly be a reflection of the top MSPs in the world rather than just those with the largest annual revenue. This meant they needed to incorporate a wider variety of key metrics used to gauge the health of a business.

“For starters, we all know that it isn’t really the revenue you bring in that makes you a healthy business; it’s the profit, customers, and employees you keep,” said Allison Francis in their announcement regarding a new methodology. “Basing the MSP 501 rankings solely on annual revenue, even when you incorporate the weighting methodology, is a logical fallacy.”

We at Heiden certainly agree. Being a top MSP is about much more than revenue. It’s about providing excellent service, strategic IT guidance at the C-suite level, the best cybersecurity, and doing it all in a very competitive market.

Competition is the name of the game, really. IT providers keep getting better and better because we’re constantly escalating our products and levels of service. (Of course it’s our clients who benefit the most from this!) For instance, in 2020 we’ve already secured our TISC certification which identifies Heiden Technologies as one of the most secure IT providers in the country.
